Couples Therapy for Connection, Trust & Intimacy

Your relationship may look stable from the outside while the two of you feel lonely, tense, or increasingly like roommates. Perhaps every important conversation becomes the same argument—or you avoid difficult topics because nothing seems to change.

Couples therapy creates room to slow the pattern down, understand what is happening beneath it, and begin responding to each other differently. The goal is not perfect harmony. It is a relationship with more honesty, safety, affection, and choice.

I work with couples online across Texas, Colorado, Washington, and Florida.

Couples Often Seek Therapy For:

• Recurring arguments or communication breakdowns

• Emotional disconnection or feeling more like roommates

• Differences in sexual desire, affection, or intimacy

• Infidelity, secrecy, or rebuilding trust

• Difficulty talking about sex, pleasure, boundaries, or needs

• Major transitions, grief, retirement, or changes in the relationship

• Cultural, interracial, or family-of-origin differences

• Considering separation—or deciding whether to repair the relationship

As a licensed marriage and family therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I help couples address both relationship patterns and sexual concerns without blame or taking sides. Our work may include communication, attachment, trust, desire, pleasure, boundaries, and the meanings each partner brings to intimacy.

Couples therapy is available in 50- and 90-minute sessions, with focused intensives for couples who want more time to work deeply. You do not need to wait until the relationship is in crisis.
